16th Jan 09 - D-Day

This will be the last entry to the blog. Finally the time has come. Tomorrow we will be facing our ultimate test, the Final Presentation.

Everything has been completed. We met our target and beyond. Documentation done, CDs prepared. We are all set to go!!!

Hope we all can score what we deserve for the efforts we put in.

5th Jan - Meeting yet again!

Most of the parts are completed. Linking are almost done except some minor parts. Quiz and glossary have been improved. Good job to Brad..

Flash able to call Java....YEAH!..TS is the MAN!! Its real hardwork from the genius.

Mark is responsible for the video presentation. He got necessary software to do it. The video need to be done by 9th.

Documentation is the headache now....

2nd Jan - Progress meeting

So far...most of the parts are doing well. Shang continues to link all buttons and flash movies. Ed working on the applet. TS researching on Adobe Air which is a new features release not long ago (lifeline for integration). Mark doing on DES attacks. Brad doing documentation and quiz.

TS also working on another additional feature. Maybe something new therefore not telling anyone now...unless u see minutes :P

Meet up with HC. He is quite satisfied with the progress. Gave us some suggestion for improvements.

Need to prep a few stuff to be handed up on 17th Jan. A video presentation need to be recorded and hand up.

22nd Dec - Meetup again!

Thet Swe tried a few ways to integrate Java with Flash...but failed...at least for now... Try searching alot on the net but no avail. We did some enhancement and additional features. Java applet integrate well into HTML but unable to access local file(problem).

Quiz was completed as per our target. Brad show us the demo and passed to Shang to integrate into the main project.

Documentation has started. Everybody did well to reach the base milestone.

19th Dec - Regular meet up

We are still looking into possible ways of integration. Direct integration is not possible. Flash integrate with Java is abit tough. Looking into HTML to load all the flash movies....

All the flash files will be passed to Shang to consolidate and compile them together. Shang also completed a draft Home menu to link all the various topics. Everyone commented on the menu to further enhance. Ed is looking into programming Java applet.

Thet Swe discussed with us some of the ways of integrate Java with Flash.

5th Dec 08 - Team meeting with Supervisor

Met up with HC again. We consulted him what exactly can let us get high marks. He mention that as long thing which other project group don't have is good enough. Buuuuttttttt....most of the points is still given by the accessors. Sighz...

The team is looking for some other alternatives rather than integrating Java and Flash.

Java team are finishing their 5 modes soon while the Flash team are still struggling with it.

14th Nov 08 - Meeting accessor

This is the day that we met Adrian. We demo to him our work.
He hinted that to get Distinction or HD, we need to do something special. Either the project is able to do unique stuff or else we able to make Bernard understand what is DES after the presentation (highly unlikely).

After that we discuss among ourselves what is are the special things we can do to get at least higher marks. Hmmmzz...but not much ideas...

No minutes were taken that day except some short notes which Adrian mention.
